Being a Wikipedian

A few days ago I made an account of Wikipedia to write some articles in Wikipedia—especially Japanese ancient history stuff.

It’s very exciting that I can leave my work in the ever-lasting place of the world. I’m trying to move the text that I’ve written for many years to Wikipedia, because by doing so I can give my knowledge to more people than by keeping it in my own website.

Of course I know Wikipedia isn’t perfect—everybody, even those who are not experts, can write or modify articles and it may proble that Wikipedia’s quality is lower than that of traditional encyclopedias like Britannica. But I don’t care if it’s perfect or not. The point is that everybody has an opportunity to contribute to the world by exchanging his own information.
