シンデモ キャメラヲ ハナシマセンデシタ
「キグチコヘイハ イサマシク イクサニデマシタ。テキノ タマニ アタリマシタガ シンデモ ラッパヲ クチカラ ハナシマセンデシタ。」 尋常小学校の修身の教科書に、日清戦争に従軍し、戦死した木口小平2等卒のエピソードが載っています。ラッパ卒だった木口は、敵に撃たれても息絶えるまでラッパを吹き続けたといわれ、最期の時まで自らの本分を全うした誇らしい例として紹介されています。それを思い起こさせられた今回の事件でした。
